BANGKOK, Feb. 28 -- Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) announced on Thursday that it has got permission to use Chinese airspace to resume flights to Europe on Thursday.
In a press statement, Pratana Patanasiri, THAI vice president of Aviation Safety, Security and Standards Department said, the company has resumed flights from Bangkok to Europe from Thursday, including flights to Moscow, London, Frankfurt, Stockholm, Paris, Vienna, etc.
Flights TG507, TG508 from Bangkok to Muscat will also be operational on Thursday by detouring around Pakistan while flights to Lahore, Pakistan have been canceled on Thursday.
On Wednesday, THAI cancelled flights from Bangkok to Pakistan and to Europe, it said it had looked after passengers affected by flight cancellations, in accordance to international standards.
THAI advises all passengers traveling on flights to Europe to check the company's announcements and keep abreast of all related news.
